About Dr. Rosenberg

Dr. Rosenberg graduated from George Washington Medical School in Washington D.C. in 1980. He completed his internship and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY in 1983. He was board certified by the Academy of PM&R in 1984 and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine in 1985.

During this time he trained with the foremost experts in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation including:
Drs. Stanley, Hoppenfield, Janet Travell, Morton Spinner, Arthur Abramson and Edward Delagi.

Prior to practicing in Rhode Island Dr. Rosenberg was a clinical assistant professor at Yale University in Connecticut.

He has been an assistant clinical professor of Rehabilitation and Orthopedics at Brown University since 1987 and is active at several hospitals including Rhode Island Hospital, the Miriam Hospital, Roger Williams’s Hospital, and St. Joseph Hospital where he instructs medical students, interns and residents. 

He is considered an expert in Rehabilitation Medicine and has served as the Membership Chairman at the American Academy of Rehabilitation Medicine. He has written several articles for the peer review journal of PM&R. He has also written a chapter in "The Physiological Basis of Rehabilitation Medicine" 2nd ed., "The Oxford textbook of Surgery" 2nd edition, as well as e-medicine chapters on line for WebMD.

He has over 25 years of training, teaching and professional experience.

He also loves dogs.
